Are your products cruelty-free?
Of course! We love animals so much that we would never test on them! We test every product on family, friends, and myself, willingly. We do not believe in animal testing of any of our products or ingredients used in making them.
Are all your products Vegan?
Not all are vegan. Some of our products may have small amounts of beeswax, honey, goat milk, or other ingredients in their formulas that may not be considered vegan. Refer to the Ingredients section on each product detail page to determine whether or not a product is vegan.
Are your products tear-free?
No, our products are not tear-free.
Does Lux 47 Co. promise or guarantee to relieve or cure any symptoms a person is experiencing physically or mentally?

We are fully committed to the authenticity and transparency of our products. You can learn all about our products on their individual product pages.
Do your products contain any nut oil?
Yes! Nuts contain beneficial natural properties such as antioxidants, magnesium, and vitamin E. All of our soaps, and some of our other skincare products, contain sweet almond oil, as well as some of our unique blends utilize nutmeg essential oil. We recommend that you check the ingredients for each of our products in the “INGREDIENTS” section on the product detail page.
I have allergies and or sensitivities
If you have a specific allergy or sensitivity, do not use ingredients that may trigger a reaction. An allergy patch test is recommended if there is any doubt or history of skin reactions. Discontinue use if a reaction occurs. It is always important to read ingredient lists for any product, no matter if you have allergies or not. We recommend that you check the ingredients for each of our products in the “INGREDIENTS” section on the product detail page.
How do I care for my products?
Always keep your skincare products in a cool, dry place. Avoiding moisture, heat and direct sunlight will help to prevent bacteria and prolong the product's shelf life.
What cautions should I take when using your products?
Some product's may make surfaces slippery, use with caution. Those products include, but are not limited to sugar scrubs, body butters, and bath salts.
What If my products melt during transit? Are your products safe to ship in the Summer months?
SHIPPING NOTICE: As this is a natural product made from butters & oils, the consistency will vary given weather conditions in your area. Keep in mind that the consistency of the product does not change the efficacy of its intended use. Simply pop the container into the refrigerator for 25 minutes, after it arrives via mail.
During transit and during warmer months, your products are prone to changing textures such as softening or even melting due to varying temperatures. Please ensure that you track your order and retrieve your items as soon as they arrive to avoid any melting that may occur in the high temperatures. We assume no responsibility for melting issues and orders will not be replaced or refunded.
If this occurs, prior to opening your jar, place the items in your refrigerator for a few hours to allow them to harden. DO NOT OPEN TO CHECK FOR MELTING BEFORE REFRIGERATION. This can cause spilling which will result in loss of product.
Our hand-whipped process adds tiny air bubbles that increase the volume, just like whipping cream. If a whipped product melts, the air bubbles collapse and the volume is decreased.
So, although the jar are filled to the top initially, there will be less volume in the container (since it has deflated) and the container may actually look half full.
After cooling, a melted Whipped Body Butter will be the consistency of a body balm and is still a great moisturizer!
**Sugar Scrub - if it melts due to warmer temperatures, the oil may begin to separate. Just place it in the fridge! As it begins to harden up, give it a stir and place it back in the refrigerator. Once it's solidified and mixed it will be perfect to use!
Why does one product look different than the other when they are the same product?
Due to the handmade nature of our product's, each is unique and may vary slightly in appearance from the image shown on the website. This does not, in any way change the products intended use or efficacy.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Shop Pay
When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged as soon as your order is accepted and processed.
Do I have to pay for shipping?
We dislike charging shipping costs as much as you dislike paying them. Paying a portion of the shipping fee helps us keep our product prices fair and competitive.
Do you offer free shipping?
We do sometimes offer Free Shipping promotions. Signing up to receive emails will keep you in the know for these types of offers. You can also follow us on Facebook @lux47co or Instagram @lux47co_
Do you ship internationally?
We currently only offer shipping within the United States. We are working to expand to international shipping. Follow us on Instagram @lux47co_ , and Facebook @lux47co and/or subscribe to our newsletter to hear about new destinations as they are added.
Do you ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses?
We do not ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses at this time.
What carrier do you use to ship out products?
Packages are shipped via USPS. This enables us to keep our delivery costs low and pass the savings on to you. Since delivery is handled by your local postal service, your order can be delivered 6 days a week, including Saturdays*. In the event that a different carrier is more suitable to ship your products, Lux 47 Co. has the right to choose that carrier and you will be charged accordingly.
Lux 47 Co. is not responsible for carrier delivery delays, damaged, lost, or stolen packages.
*Holidays and other observances may prolong the delivery of packages.
How long will it take to receive my package?
Delivery estimates are based on two factors: order processing time and time in transit. Depending on the time you place your order, the order process might not start for 1-3 business days. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding United States federal holidays. During peak periods you may experience longer than average order processing time.
What should I do if my product was delivered damaged?
When your order arrives, please inspect the carton for any damage that may have occurred during shipment. If the item is damaged, please contact the carrier service responsible for delivering your package and follow their instructions. Lux 47 Co. is not responsible for carrier delivery delays, damaged, lost, or stolen packages.
*Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
What should I do if I received the wrong product?
If you receive the wrong product or shipment please e-mail us within 48 hours at Lux47co@gmail.com and we’ll be sure to get you the product you ordered!
Who pays the shipping & handling of a replacement item if it was delivered in error?
Your original shipping and handling charges will not be refunded, but any product sent to you in error will be shipped to you free of charge.
Can I change or cancel my order?
When you submit an order through our checkout page, it begins to process and can’t be changed or cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Do you accept returns?
Due to the nature of our handcrafted products, we cannot assure the purity of merchandise once it has been shipped. For safety and hygienic reasons this merchandise cannot be restocked or resold, so we do not accept returns.
How do I sign up to receive email offers?
Signing up for our e-mail list is easy! Simply go to the bottom of our Lux 47 Co. home page and enter and confirm your email address in the "Get email offers & the latest news from Lux 47 Co.!" section.
It can take a few weeks to receive your first offer, as offers are not always available. Once you start receiving e-mails from us, you're in!
